Проект ECO-ARAL реализует меры по экологически устойчивому использованию ресурсов в регионе Аральского моря.
В течение десятилетий регион Аральского моря сталкивается с нарастающими проблемами, связанными с деградацией почв и нехваткой воды. Сильно засоленные почвы больше не пригодны для традиционного сельского хозяйства, что требует выработку новых идей и подходов. Наш проект предлагает инновационные решения для преобразования таких истощенных природных ресурсов в экономические перспективы.
Например, наш проект внедряет экологически устойчивое разведение артемии в Узбекистане. Артемия, также известная как солоноводная креветка, способна переносить высокую засоленность воды, в отличие от других водных животных. Артемия, как ресурс, в основном используется в качестве корма в рыбоводстве. В настоящее время артемия еще сохранилась в остатках Аральского моря, где ее собирают для экспорта. Но количество и качество постоянно снижается из-за уменьшения Аральского моря и постоянно увеличивающейся засоленности. Это лишь вопрос времени, когда нынешняя бизнес-модель исчерпает себя в ближайшие годы.
Проект ECO-ARAL демонстрирует переход к новой бизнес-модели путем разведения артемии в искусственно созданных прудах, что является экологически устойчивым методом. Таким образом, соленая почва и вода, непригодные для сельского хозяйства и человека, становятся важным ресурсом для выращивания артемии. Проект организовал учебную поездку в Таиланд для представителей государственных и научных организаций, а также во Вьетнам с участием узбекистанских специалистов для прохождения обширной программы обучения по экологически безопасному строительству прудов и разведению артемии. Мы заключили контракт с одним из ведущих специалистов по артемии в мире для проведения многочисленных экспертных визитов в Каракалпакстане, результатом которых стали выводы и отчеты, имеющие решающее значение для развития процветающего сектора артемии в Узбекистане.
Все полученные результаты были собраны в информационный пакет по артемии, чтобы представить консультационным компаниям, бенефициарам, инвесторам, природопользователям, и лицам, принимающим решения, новый и экологичный способ строительства прудов и разведения артемии экологически безопасным способом.

STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING OF ECO ARAL IN TASHKENT 2022-2023

During the period from May to August this year, groundwater analysis was carried out on the Aral Sea dried bottom of (ASDB). The study was conducted in the Kazakhstani part of the ASDB and included desk and field work on the study and mapping of climatic, soil and hydrogeological conditions with determination of the depth and quality of groundwater, mapping of environmental risk zones in order to identify the most favourable areas for reclamation. At the first stage of the pre-field studies, the available hydro-geological maps of the coastal zone of the former Aral Sea were collected, mapped and analysed.
CROP DIVERSIFICATION FOR INCREASING THE ECONOMY AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE SOIL QUALITY IN THE ARAL SEA REGION
March 11, 2022 Since 2021 ECO-ARAL in partnership with ICARDA implementing a project on crop diversification and saving irrigation water by laser guided levelling the land and scaling. The ECO-ARAL project together with public association “Baitak dala” in cooperation with the State Reserve “Barsakelmes” monitors and evaluates the current state of biodiversity of wetlands in the Small Aral Sea and the Syrdarya River delta.
